Hi, I received my refurbished phone today. Disappointingly my battery life is already down to 88% on day one. My old phone (same phone) is at 84% but that’s 4 years old. Is this at an acceptable level on arrival ?

@Paul_0000 Hi, batteries will run down at slightly different rates, I would go by the total amount of time the battery lasts, also the new phone could be doing more work in the background, and therefore using more power.

Also, A new battery can take a few charges to become optimally charged.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

Further info on battery health.....

Apple considers any iPhone with a battery capacity of 80% or above to be in optimal condition.
In fact, Apple feels so strongly about battery health that its 1-year warranty covers any battery at 80% capacity or more. It’s not unusual to see iPhones that, after one year, still have a battery capacity of 95% or above.

But if not happy, please reach out to O2 to discuss it.
