Bought a new contract with the view of porting my memorable number over?
obtained a pac code, gave it to o2 and received the two notification messages.
the number updated on my phone - settings - phone - my number.
it also works on mobile data, sms and visual voicemail
but if I try to ring out I get a failed message with three beeps. If I ring it it’s a dead line.
I have given it over 24 hours and rebooted my phone (iPhone 12 mini) countless times
can anybody help please? It’s a business phone so is costing me money
You need to call customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202
If you have no access to a phone then use Skype to call 0800 032 1402

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.
8am is the best time to call
