Can anyone help ..

I had message a few days ago saying my bill was ready and was needed to be paid by the 11th so last night (the 10th) I paid some of my contract then woke up this morning and they've took the same amount again.. so basically paid the same amount twice ? Would anyone be able to tell me if the money will go back into my account or the money will be credited to my next bill next month ? Been trying to get onto live chat with them but just says busy!

Overpayments will be credited to your next bill.

If you want to try to get it back, message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
Although it may take longer than when your next bill is due.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

That text message is just to telly you that a bill is ready and the payment date, which if paying by Direct Debit it is always taken on the date in the text message.

The overpayment will be credited to your account, and will be used next month.  It won't be automatically refunded to you.

If you want the money refunded the best bet is to call up 202 from your o2 phone.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
