A little help please, trying to help my father go through the online process of buying a new SIM, I'm on the phone while he is online. 

He is not coming from another provider, this is a fresh purchase, so what option should he select when asked for a PAC code? As he doesn't have one and won't be getting one there seems no appropriate answer, but then he cannot proceed with the purchase!? 

Again, I cannot see what he is seeing, he is relaying it to me over the phone.

Hope this makes sense, and thanks for your advice.

It would be far easier for your dad to call O2 and simply ask for a new sim.
