Hi,

My elderly parents are supposed to be on a payg sim, which is what was advertised when they paid for it, but they say that they have to put £20 per month as their credit disappears. It seems they're on a pay monthly instead, they probably use the phone for about 2 calls a month. Is there any way I can check what sim type thet actually have and transfer it if they have the wrong type? They live a distance away and aren't very tech savvy

Unfortunately O2 dont do simple classic PAYG. They do Big Bundles. not what your parents need at all. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/big-bundles

They need to stop this and try Tesco or giffgaff who are on the O2 network and do Classic PAYG.

Or try this which is great value for money https://www.1pmobile.com/

Thanks very much, do O2 customer services have an email address? I'm not a customer so I can't use the app to contact them. I'd like to try to get them a refund if I can...

Sorry but O2 won't refund any top ups even though they were incorrectly advised
