Hi,

I'm on a £20 sim only tariff. I have 17 months left.

Is it possible to make a overpayment on my account of £340 to cover the 17 months?

Its sorted now. I spoke to live chat and they told me to make a payment on the myo2 app and my account will be in credit.

I found out this week that im being made redundant at work. So that's why I decided to make the payment now while I still have money in my bank account.

@Kamal You would need to speak to customer service https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/How-to-find-help-amp-contact-O2-A-Guide/m-p/1201416 but why would you want to pay 17 months in advance when you don't need to?

The only way an account would close is if the owner cancelled it.
Paying it off would not cancel unless requested to do so.

That clears that up then for me. I thought that it would not be correct to get paid up front and withdraw service. So putting in full sum would work fine to pay your agreement.

Interesting to see they are now doing 18 month sim only plans. Must have changed recently as I have only ever seen the 30 day or 12 month plans. (I'm on the 12 month simo)
