O2 won't port my old number

I took out a new monthly contract with O2 on 20th January, 13 days ago. The O2 sales assistant got a PAC code from GiffGaff and put in the request to port my old number. I have had two online chats, a conversation back at the O2 shop, endless reassurance, and restarted my phone multiple times, but my phone is still on the number in the O2 SIM I was given on 20th January. What do I have to do to get my number ported?

At any point have you had a text confirming the number is moving @mary_gg ?

If not then the request has not been completed correctly.

Can you see if you can get it done @O2Sarah- ?

No I have never had a text confirming the number is moving (nor was I asked that by any of the O2 staf I have been in contact with)

After posting on the community my old number has now been ported and my phone is up and running as I want - success! Thank you to Sarah and all those who have helped.
