They are usually excluded at launch. It pays to check the website for any restrictions.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

And as the discount has to be applied in the first month all current users will be inelligible by the time the restriction is lifted. Loyalty repaid by putting profits before customer care.

@Rob8958 Exasperating for you, I'm sure, but they've always had that policy with new phones, particularly iPhones. You can always show your displeasure by switching providers, but before you do, make sure you will be getting the same coverage or better than you have at present. You're obviously happy with that if you've been with O2 for as long as you have. A better deal with a different provider may not be as good as you think if your signal isn't as good. Coverage should always be the first consideration before price.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
