I opened my O2 app and found out I can upgrade early through refresh for free (Normal upgrade isnt until September).

I clicked the link and found the plan and phone that I wanted.

Just had a though that my bill goes from the 25th of the month and payment is taken on the 8th.

Now as I got my bill 2 days ago, if I was to get the new contract, what will happen to my new contract?

Obviously I have to pay the old one on the 8th but when will the new contract payments start? Is it when the contract starts or is it a month after. I just dont want to pay for the new one now and then the old one in a couple of weeks.

Your bill date won't change.

Next months bill will reflect any relevant price changes to the new contract.

Yes, if cheaper it will be adjusted down.
