O2 Customer Service Agent Screws my Account up

After returning an Upgrade that I was not happy with. I decided to call 202 on Friday morning to discuss options. The Customer Service Agent decided to take it to change my data package as I was on the "Wrong Kind of Data Package for an iPhone" I tried to stop her as Data is Data.

Since then I have been unable to make or receive calls. Data (Ironically) is working and so is SMS. I missed a call regarding a Contract on Friday where my client tried to call me Several times.  This Contract has now been moved to someone else. Not happy at all.

Since all of this, I have now called over 10 times. Each time getting fobbed off with some nonsense and told me to wait for 24 on each call. Now 46 hours since the Screw up I am still no better off.

My understanding is there is a stuck change on the account.

What can I do ? Who can fix this ?!

If you are near a store @RF_is_better ask for a change of sim. It will also give the instore guru a chance to check your phone's settings.

Hi @RF_is_better

I expect the advisor was talking about the iData bolt on which should now have been applied. However, that shouldn't affect calling on your phone.

Just check this advice from Apple.

Thanks for the Information and the link. This does not help

The issue is the same when I transfer my sim to an Android Device.

Sounds like they have converted you to a data sim, your best bet is to login to Myo2 to see what tariff you

are on .

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

The package looks correct. I have also tried via Twitter with no luck from that route either.

Just a minor change to what @Cleoriff wrote about the O2 Store approach: The Guru branding is being phased out from O2 stores, so any member of staff at an O2 Store should now be able to help. I guess the Guru was a popular guy/gal, so bottlenecks would build up 😉

Good luck getting it sorted, @RF_is_better.
