I have a £2000 credit given by O2 for charging me for something I have never had, but I want it to go back in my bank, not against further bills, could anyone advise me if this can be done

Or do it in your MyO2, @gortonloyal - it has been tested and works, but you have to take all at once:

Good luck, @gortonloyal

Yes @gortonloyal, I was the one who tested it. My credit was in excess of £400+
I thought I would leave about £50 in but no chance of that. It was all or nothing, so I put the £400 back in my bank.
(Initially I didn't think it had worked as I had no notification via email or text from O2)
However, 4 days later it was in my bank.
Best of luck with it 👍
