I've just upgraded and don't want my old number.  Am still with the same company so can anyone help me to change my number

You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

You need to contact O2.

It may be a local network issue O2 Service Status

Or a sim failure. Any O2 shop can give you a new sim for free.
