Does the sound work if you use anything else like music apps, radio etc.

If so, is it possible to try your sim in another phone?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Check for network issues here Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? 

If you have a case or cover on the phone, remove it to see if it helps.

Google for your make of phone and run the diagnostic check for sound.
