Hello

my husband and I are with O2 and we never have any signal at all at our home address.

this means we cannot make or receive work calls, we cannot make or receive important calls regarding our newborn from the hospital and doctors, it means after spending an hour on hold to 111 I got cut off just after getting through, Without even commenting on the calls to family and friends and general admin that needs to be done.

I wouldn’t mind for things to go wrong but I reported this to O2 and the mast has been down in our area since the 17th of October. O2 continually send me the same text message saying that they cannot access the area and are in contact with the landlord, this is unacceptable as it is stopping me being able to live my life and causing me so much stress nobody can hear me on the phone on the off chance that I do get through they say you sound like a robot and then you get cut off this needs to change we are paying customers and nothing has been done about it

Sounds like a nightmare. You could download the My Network app and get updates and report issues

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

If your phones are capable of Wifi calling, this should also help https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling

Also keep contacting O2 and ask if they are will to give you a rebate as a gesture of goodwill

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

I'm afraid access to sites can be a major problem. Landlords often try to use it as a bargaining chip when the lease comes up for renewal. Had similar round me with EE who were in constant dispute with United Utilities.

Two options for the moment is for family calls use the likes of WhatsApp. My wife and her sister use that as her sister has no mobile coverage.

The second is to make sure WiFi calling is turned on in both your account and on your phone. That will mean you have contact with all those services you mentioned

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
