I have had no service for 9 days. 
I have no outstanding payment due, everything is up to date.

Assuming none of the tips in this Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? help, then you need to contact O2 to find out why, @JRS11 - O2 on Social Media, links below, and then the Payment Management team https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/payment-support

It could be up to 48hrs before your service is reconnected if O2 cut it off for non-payment, even in error.
