Network problems

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm having network problems today. I don't have any bars, and when I just tried to call, it took a while to even connect, and then I received a text message 3 hours late. I looked on the website, at the service checker, but no network problems have been listed.

Please help.

Thanks,

Esther

Is anyone else on O2 in the area that are having problems? Family or friends?

If not I would suggest you try your sim card in another phone which should eliminate either the sim card or the phone as the problem.

if you have an iphone - try switching airplane mode off for a few minutes and back on again

if not, take your sim out wait a few minutes and place it back in your phone , if that doesnt work try calling 02 from another number

I noticed that after I posted but sometimes it takes a while to update so no harm in checking again wink

That's true, it is updated regularly so it may not have been showing earlier:smileyhappy:

So my problem does not seem to be over... Even though it shows I have coverage, when I try to call, it takes a while before it can connect and you hear it ring (longer than normal), and then the call breaks up and people can't hear me anymore.

I checked the status checker again, but it says everything is fine and no maintenance is taking place. I also tried turning my phone off and on, and tried the airport mode.

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks!
