Need Help,About the favourite place free time

I have just bought a Favourite place Pay&Go sim card, but I found that when I'm calling numbers like 0207 XXX XXXX the tariff didn't work properly, it still cost as standard calls.

Somebody tell me why? Is there something wrong or just it is the way it meant to be?

thanks alot

Mobile phone signals fluctuate, so a room where you picked up one minute won't the next.

If your home postcode is like that the Favourite Place calls don't always work.

If I went half a mile down the road it worked perfectly.

I don't think it's related to the number you are calling, unless there is a fault somewhere.

I gave up on it because of this.

Re: "...numbers like 0207 XXX XXXX..."

In reality, that number is (020) 7xxx xxxx, a standard London number.

All London numbers changed to the single (020) area code in 2000.
