Hello, I’m moving to Canada and wanted to know if i’ll still have to pay my phone bill along with a Canadian sim? Would I be able to switch to something else?

Also, when I place another sim into my phone, it says no service for my current phone and my previous phone with O2, why is this please? I’ve already unlocked it so I’m confused

@Texa05

You'll need to continue to pay O2 up to the end of your contract or pay it all off and cancel.

Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

What other sim are you trying in your phone as if it is unlocked, any sim from anywhere should work.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Okay thank you! & I tried a random EE sim that I had and then another O2 sim that came with the new phone at the time which I didn’t use as I wanted to keep my old sim

That new O2 sim would be blank and not activated.

The random EE sim could also not be activated unless you can confirm it working in another phone.
