Hi

I currently have 2 phones with o2. One ends in a couple months and the other is a new contract.

As I get better data with the contract almost finished I simply just put my old sim in the new phone and carried on using it, meaning I had my old phone with the new sim sitting around so have said to my mum I will let her have it as it makes sense someone making use of the data etc but now she has asked if she can keep her number.

Is it possible to merge a number this way?

And if so is it as simple as she requests a pac code from giffgaff then I just give it to o2 and then done?

Yes it's that simple.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
