Issues with unbarring my phone

I recently got a new phone after my old one was stolen. I have inserted the sim card which I was told in store was now active. I cannot recieve any messages or call or use my mobile data. I barred them when my old phone was stolen, but now I cannot undo it as it says they need to send me a message in order to confirm my identity.

How can I solve this?

@Harry_Davies

You need to persevere with O2 to remove the bars.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Guide: O2 BARs

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Harry_Davies

The guide contains many options that don't require a call or you can call 0800 numbers free on Skype Guide: A Guide to Skype

Nothing can be done from here as we are all customers like yourself.
