Incomplete port: No incoming or outgoing calls (SMS and Internet working)

Hi

My port to O2 was scheduled for the 25th of August but was pushed back a day to the 26th (yesterday).

From around lunchtime I was able to send and receive SMS with my ported number using the O2 SIM but calls would not work at all. I waited till 6pm (since I was told the port would be complete by then) before calling customer service, who were unable to help.

Please could a staff member here help resolve this as I still have no calls this morning and my customers are unable to reach me easily.

I have tried power-cycling the phone many times, removing and cleaning the SIM.

There are lots of threads on here with similar stories @BRS .

o2 has an issue and is aware of it, but if you feel a need then you can call them using Skype on some of the numbers in this guide:

Thanks @gmarkj, I scrolled down after posting and noticed others with similar issues.

I'd have preferred if the CS rep I spoke to on the phone last night had admitted this, instead he told me "the port is definitely complete" and the problem was because the network is busy at my home address (he had clearly just looked up my postcode on the coverage checker. I'd just got back from work 60 miles away and had good coverage all day, drove past many masts on the journey home!).

O2 say issue should be fixed today and to keep rebooting phones to check.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
