How much data can I use daily with an O2 Travel Bolt On?

I will be visiting St Kitts in a few weeks. According to O2 I have the O2 Travel Bolt On which will give me 120minutes, 120 texts and 'all the data I need' for £4.99 a day.

Has anyone tested this theory with regards to data usage? I don't want to rely on what I assume is an unlimited data supply and then get told I've reached a fair use policy limit or I only get the allowance that my monthly contract includes (which is not much because I rely on wifi 99% of the time!)

Any help / experiences would be appreciated

@Hannah95

There is no data limit, however, speeds are throttled to 0.5mbps.

So, you can't stream or download large files.

The intention is to provide data for emails, light surfing and messaging apps.

If you need fast data, you'll need a local sim card or find wifi hotspots.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Also remember this when receiving calls @Hannah95

Receiving calls on O2 Travel

You can receive up to 120 minutes of calls a day without charge, even if you don't trigger O2 Travel. If you do trigger O2 Travel, these received calls will come out of your 120 minute allowance.

After you've used up your 120 minute allowance, any calls you make or receive will be charged at our standard roaming rates.
