How do I limit the bill on my sons phone?

I could tell him to text less, dont think that would work.
Can I set a limit on his phone via O2?

I take it you took a contract out in your name for him? If so the answer is no, there is no option to limit it.
Best option is to either swap to a unlimited text tariff or force him onto PAYG when the contract is up letting him realise the value of such things.
Personally, my preferred option is cattle prod but that may be a touch unethical grin

Just to let you know Tesco are now doing contracts on which you can limit the spend. They are aiming them at parents so there is obviously a market out there.
