I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy A70.  Despite remaining on 02, I can no longer send MMS, cannot receive pictures on text without logging in (very time consuming), cannot access the 02 app (no longer recognises me) and can't use my banking app anymore. Help!!

I would go instore as the shops are open now. They will be able to identify the issue and correct them.

Failing that, give O2 a call. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Currently 0800 587 4005 is the best number to call.

hi @Serenity-Jane

Where did you buy the A70 from? Are you able to access the internet from the phone using mobile data, as for MMS your settings need to be on the device.

Also what error do you get from my02 and your banking app?

Hi @madasaf1sh

i bought it online via a site called laptops direct.

Yes I can access internet using mobile data.

I have tried repeatedly to set up MMS access via the device, following instructions on 02 website, and from Samsung help.  I still get the message saying that my network does not support MMS.  Which it did before!

When I try to log in to 02, it won't recognise my details.  It then sends a code to my phone, which it then does not recognise.  With the banking app, similar stuff.

I would call customer services as there could be an issue on your account.

I would also recommend asking for a new sim.

If you go into settings - connections - mobile network - access point names.

Does it say O2 pay monthly?

Also if you have a zero spend cap you wont be able to send mms as they are chargeable.

There is a guide here to set it up manually:
