Had text like following beware
Your account is £24.00 overdue. We're now diverting your outgoing calls to our payment line and stopping data usage. To prevent this, you need to pay today. You can do this by using the MYO2 app or calling 2729 free from your mobile or 0800 588 4217. We will have to report continued non-payment to the credit reference agencies. If you've already paid this amount today please ignore this message.

It could be a text sent in error but it isn't fraud and definitely a legit text from O2.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@peterhaslanded Have you checked your account on your MyO2 page? To double check, you should speak to someone in customer service. Don't use Live Chat for this. https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Never ever click on a link in a text. Forward the text to 7762 so o2 can investigate.

2729 is 100% the o2 payment line, hence my original question.
Certainly don't click any links but check your MyO2 via the app or website directly.
