False outgoing text charges

On checking my latest mobile bill I noticed that I have been charged for two outgoing text messages to 07802000332 I did not send these texts and there is no record of them on my phone. I was away on holiday at the time and did not send any texts. Looking on line there are queries from other o2 customers who have experienced the same ‘rogue’ outgoing text charges involving that number.

That number is the postpay message centre number so when sending a text from abroad it may show in some cases this number instead of the number you are texting.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
