Hi, I contacted your service centre on Sunday as I was upgrading online and my credit check was declined.  There is no reason that it should be declined as my credit score is the maximum it could be.  I was due a call back on Monday which never happened.  I need to upgrade as my current  device stopped working last Friday.  Can someone please contact me as I keep getting cut off from your call centre?  Thanks Janine Gonzalez, (REMOVED)

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

My take on this, as when Virgin Mobile did the same, is simply to go elsewhere.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

One option is for you to buy a new handset direct from the manufacturer. For example, Samsung and Google both have some really good offers at the moment.

Another option is for you to visit your local O2 retail store and to see if, on a different day, there is a different outcome :-

Store locator | O2 UK | Find Your Nearest O2 Store

Same system used in store so outcome will be the same.
