Afternoon All,

I have just got myself an Esim,

My employer has upgraded all our phones to Iphone XR's and what i would like to do is ditch my personal phone and put my Esim into my work phone as a second sim. Does anyone know when this will be available to coporate customers at all. Carrying two phones is doing my head in.... LOL

Thank you

@MJC83 we have had this a couple of times from users requesting this, and this is how we do it and many others are doing

Speak to your IT Team for their Security and Data Protection Posture

1. The company must run a BYOD scheme, where you buy the device and allow a corporate sim card to be used with it.
2. Enroll in the companies Enterprise Mobility Platform.
3. Swap your personal number to an ESIM.

Your Personal device is now managed and can have any corporate data removed.

Would that apply though @madasaf1sh as the phone is the corporate device already?
Would they not just add the personal eSim to the work phone?

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

From a technical Point yes it can be done.

But they may allow it, depends on their own Information Security requirements some do, some don't.

Its normally the other way round, as the IT department can reset the phone, and take away the ESIM if it is a dedicated corporate device.

As i said its down to the individuals corporate policy, but both will work 🙂
