I got the below text a few days ago and I’ve been trying to call to see what the terms and conditions are but the call queues have been pretty long and I’m not able to go to store to ask. Has anyone else had the text and taken the offer?

“ Upgrade early to the new iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Recycle your old phone in store and if the trade-in value isn't enough to pay off your current Device Plan, we'll make up the difference.”

So many scams around you'd be well advised to persevere with trying to get through to o2.

Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
