Hi,

I was going to get a contract £8 25GB data per month

My contract was refused

Can I get a "Rolling Plan" or "Big Bundles" pay as you go?

What's the difference?

You seem keen to join O2. Just to say that O2's PAYG is like stepping back in time. There is no 5G, no Voice over 4G and no WiFi Calling to name a few conditions.

https://www.o2.co.uk/rolling-plan

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/big-bundles

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@CJME

You also said giffgaff was bad in your area so O2 will be equally poor as it's the same network.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@CJME

If you get a Big Bundle SIM and put £10 of credit onto it via a voucher, you can have unlimited calls and texts and 8Gb of data for 30 days.

That will give you plenty of opportunity to test the O2 network in your location and to conclude on whether it is adequate for your needs.

If it isn't, try PAYG SIMs from the other networks.

Same as contract by paying every month but you can leave at any time

Different from contract for which you get WiFi and 4G calling, call waiting, call forwarding etc

On contract you need to take out a 12 month contract to get the same or better data allowances, you get detailed usage each month and can check on a daily basis calls made, texts sent and to which numbers. You can still leave at any time but you would need to pay out for the minimum term remaining

Do check this before making your mind up.....

Use USwitch

https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/o2/

Choose the deal you want

This will automatically redirect you to the O2 website

Just follow the prompts and complete the deal and choose to keep your number during the sign up

Volt benefits will apply if you also have Virgin broadband at home as will possibly a 3 month extra such as Disney+
