I've got a direct debit payment to be made in 2 days and i was originally calling 02 to ask if i can push the payment up to the 14th

However their lines at the moment don't seem to have the option for notifying 02. I'm thinking of recording down the direct debit ref number and just cancelling it until the 14th but i don't know if that's a good idea.

I've called them already and the bot on the phone says something along the lines of "if you're calling for cancelling your service, lost phone or have had it stolen, please press 1. For any other query, go online to the 02 website"

Even when i make sure to say it's about payment and i go through the processes. I don't have any queries on matters like a lost phone or wanting to cancel my service. I just want to make 02 aware i want to push the date.

The phone lines are busy at the moment but I'll call them once again later.
Thank you
