Data allowance- incorrect text

I received a text today saying I  have used 80% of my data allowance. I currently have 10gb a month (NHS allowance). My phone tells me I have used 839mb, and My O2 account tells me i have 10.19 gb left. Can anyone advise what's going on and why I've received this text? It's impossible to speak to anyone at O2 at the moment.

If your tariff had a bonus amount of data then you would normally get a text if the initial amount of data was near to being used. Then the bonus data would kick in

If You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.
