rang in for the second time over past few days to report scam number only to be told again that systems are down and accounts cannot be accessed, billing seem to be working fine though as billed £5.45 for a 24 sec call to 09095560004 - this is a scam number

@Jallen

There is an 09 number scam going round where a text tells you to call an 09 number to access a voicemail message.

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.
Other ways to report here including Action Fraud website

The scammers keep changing the number they send the text from so it's proving difficult for any network to close them down.

@Jallen All numbers with an 09 prefix are premium rate numbers.

See https://payforitsucks.co.uk/ for ways to try to get a refund.
You also need to contact O2 and ask them to place the following bars on your account
Bar all Direct to bill debits
Bar Premium rate numbers
You should also ask for a "charge to mobile" bar

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
