I was an O2 customer for years, until recently when they changed my t&c's which let me leave O2 penalty free. I was told on O2 chat and by phone I could leave without any charges. Shortly after I cancelled, I received a bill of almost £500. Contacted O2 who apologised and credited the account with the same amount..... job done, or so I thought. Almost 3 months on, 3 letters from a debt collection agency moorcroft, countless phonecalls to and from moorcroft, countless phonecalls to O2 customer service who apologised everytime and said it's sorted and not to worry I owe no money. I now have a strike on my credit score and have just had my mortgage application rejected. Phoned O2 again tonight who said don't worry it will all be sorted. Can anyone give any help or advice where I can go to next or what steps I need to take? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has caused so much stress in an already challenging time.  Thankyou in advance for any help or advice. P
