Hello, I signed a one-year contract with O2 last October, but I am going back to my country because of the coronavirus. When it gets better, I'll come back to England. Can I freeze or stop my contract? Or can I change it to a minimum charge?

@Jinny

All you can do is reduce the airtime portion to a minimum (in your MyO2).

If you cancel you will be billed the full amount for device.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Your best option is to pay off the contract or carry on paying monthly for it. If you are within the EU you can still use the phone as you would in the UK. Good luck with flight four_leaf_clover
