I ordered a new sim and o2 activated the new one, he still has the handset however now I can use what I am paying for.
If you want to go further, report the phone stolen and o2 will block it so he'll have to buy a new phone as well as a new sim card

Just to add, even if he does what he threatens he will look a bit of a fool. Good.
If he is 'losing business' then let him get his own phone and contract.

How did you manage to swap the sim if your ex was using the phone? Did you report it lost or stolen and got the new sim delivered to your address?
