Contract ending- should I pay last bill early

Hi guys

so my contract with 02 is due to end early august and I have given the 30 days notice. My bill date is on the 7th but the DD doesn't come out until the 21st- I was wondering if it was worth paying the last bill early online to pay off my contract, as I'd lke to avoid being billed for this month AND for the new phone before payday  but if I pay early online am I likely to get billed a second time through the DD?

In my experience ive left it to pay through the direct debit.

There have been threads in the past concerning people paying their bill early, and then the direct debit has still slipped through.

Its your choice.

Just letthe direct debit take care of evrything otherwise you may end up paying twice. Once O2 have your money it takes a while before you get it back.

Or you could cancel the direct debit with your bank and make a manual payment for the bill if it helps
