Hi All,

I am trying to change my name due to marriage.

I’ve logged into myo2 and I’m not getting anywhere!

when trying to change my details, it requests that I contact customer services and when I do that, I am told to go into myO2.

It’s very frustrating! Does anyone know how I can contact customer services to get my account details changed?

Thank you.

Thabks for the tag @gmarkj

@ShellieL  if this method isn't working then i would recommend send us an email on changeofname@o2.com

When you send this please include your mobile number and account number , a copy of the marriage certificate and a quick covering note just to explain you are looking to change the name on the account and our team will get this sorted for you. You will usually be contacted within 5 working days to dkconfirm it has all gone through.

Hope this helps.

o2 has a help page on this @ShellieL . Have you seen this on the o2 help pages?

https://www.o2.co.uk//help/account-and-billing/changing-personal-details

There is a form to fill out which you will need to send to o2 including a photo of some documentation (wedding certificate).

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Do you not get this screen once you enter your number @ShellieL ?

If not, I'll mention the community advisor who might be able to help.

Keep an eye on the envelope icon in the top right of the community (once you log in).

@O2Sarah- @O2Daniel can you please get in touch to help?

Hi Sarah- no, I don’t see that when I go to that FAQ. It tells me that this is a new system and I should be able to update directly in myO2 and upload forms/certificates. But when I go there, it says to contact customer services.

thanks for your help.

I would suggest following the advice from @O2Sarah- above and do it outside of your My o2 account @ShellieL
