Call forward issues

I have been trying to set up call forward on my samsung s20 note ultra device (o2 pay monthly sim) and I keep getting the following message" failed to read data, something went wrong, check your sim card or network connection" I have tried master reset , I have phone signal and internet signal can make and receive calls the sim cards in, just have run out of ideas?

Try turning off wifi calling first.
