I was paying my DD to VIRGIN.  Then a few weeks ago had an email or two to say that VIRGIN would be switched to O2.  The switch happened, so that my mobile was not on 02.  I still had the VIRGIN sim in but it was 02.  I made an 02 account and I phoned 202 from my phone.  I rang 02 to say since being on 02 my calls were getting cut off and internet poor so would have to pull away from them. I had the PAC code to enable me to use my current number with a new provider. I was told to ring back when I had my new provider to tell 02 this.  I found a new provider and put the new sim in and kept the same phone number as used the PAC code.  I could not ring 202 from the phone then as a different network sim in. I phoned 0344 8090222 but its an automated person.  I said no, I said yes, does not matter what I said the automated person did not like me and cut me off each time. So I cant do what I was told to do and that is to ring back and say I am with my new provider.  I have a month by month contract.  So how do I get through to 02 like they told me to do?  Is there a live chat? I dont want them to charge me as I have not been able to get through and tell them.  I did various messages on their facebook but they have not replied back, is there another way to contact them?live chat or another way, thanks.

@MicheleBS10 You need to give your PAC to your new provider, not to O2. Once they have your PAC it will cancel your O2 account. You're calling an incorrect O2 number.

Call 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

@MicheleBS10

Im sorry but your post makes no sense at all.

You where already on o2 with Virgin, all that has happened is you have have moved from an MVNO to the MNO. So your signal should not have been affected, or got another sim card.

You can get a PAC code by texting from your old number 65075 and the Word PAC

You are also ringing the wrong number,  You need to call 0344 809 0202  and also when it says something just say thinking of leaving.
