Hi.

I am due for an upgrade, when I’m looking at the options, it doesn’t give you an option to buy the device outright, rather just a maximum upfront cost. I would like to pay for the device outright and just have the airtime monthly cost, would I need to go to a shop for this?

You cant anymore direct from O2, unless the handset is offered on Pay As you Go, and to be honest you can get phones cheaper from John Lewis / Amazon or even Selfridges...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you

See links below

Or you can call them from 8am to 8pm on 0808 002 0202 or 0800 081 0255

I too wanted to buy the phone outright but they don't do that anymore so yes you have to buy from an outside source, i will be doing just that.
