There are also some apps that help convert these numbers too as MI5 has mentioned but these sometimes dont convert to the number that puts you through to the exact department of the company you want to ring.

If it is a national company, bank, commodities or insurance company, always use the overseas number from your mobile.  They have no idea where you are calling from unless you tell them.
