Account balance in credit

Hi, if for example my bill was £30 a month and I decided to make a payment of £60 to my o2 account, then obviously my account would be in credit by £30 which would just go towards the following months bill.

If in the meantime I was a bit strapped for cash would I be able to withdraw the extra balance of my o2 account back into my bank account, and would it have to be the same account from which the payment originated?

Thanks in advance for any information!

Hi @FraserTheLazer

Sadly no you wouldn't. Once that money goes into your O2 account, it goes as an extra payment towards your contract.....

I would think of another way of saving money wink

In theory you can do this as you can request a withdraw of a positive balance, however, the time it takes to process the request and receive the money would mean that your bill would have been due again and the money taken to pay it.
