3G Doesn't work most of the time?

Anonymous
Not applicable

OK so here is my issue.  At work when I require my phone the most 3G doesn't work most of the time.  First thing in the morning yes it will work but even at that its less than 1mb speed.  On my lunch hour I would try to catch up on emails and social media etc the little circle just sits spinning, no emails come through, nothing loads ups.

Its not my sim card, its not my phone as my work colleagues all face the same issue.  This is with full H+ signal.  GPRS is faster than this.  I can only blame a heavily over subscribed mast, as the day goes on the more people that log on.

Is my theory correct? Does anyone else experience this?

Have you tried your sim in another phone? (As suggested in the guide I provided)

You may want to download the My Network app ...you can report issues.. http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

Other than that you have two more options really

Put in complaint http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain or look at changing networks. If this is a real problem for you I wouldn't even consider staying with O2 personally

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately its been like this as long as I've worked in that area which is about 18 months.  You'd think with full H+ signal it would be fast, the reality is it gets so slow as the say goes on that even a speedtest test app won't work and on the rare occasion it does I am getting 0.1mbps

Yes you are correct.
O2's 3g is heavily congested in most areas.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

So I had a lenghty chat with O2, I explained the situation they tell me a mast is down, yes and my ar$e plays the banjo.  For 18 months? And they kept repeating that and would not listen to anything I said, a mast down for 18 months?
