£250 taken out of my account

28th November O2 took £250 out of my bank account when I got an upgrade even though they said they would wave this upfront cost. I have been trying to get this back ever since, spending over 12 hrs on the phone with no success. I have had 3 contracts with them 1 for myself and 2 for my children. After this experience I will never use O2 again once these contracts are up and I will never recommend them either. I’m a single parent and to take this money before Christmas put me in a overdraft and I’m still being charged from my bank. They should be ashamed of themselves not to resolve this 😡
