14 day cancellation

I accepted a sim only deal at £10 a month.

When i put in the sim card i realised that there is very little coverage around my property and there is just signal in one room of my house.

I cancelled within the 14 day period - within this time the only calls i made were to O2 and i used a very small amount of data.

When i cancelled over the phone no one mentioned anything about payment or a final bill.

I have now received an email to say i owe £9.87.

I don't really want the hassle of ring up and trying to get the £9.87 removed.

Is there no email address to use rather than calling up?

Thanks

The T&C's state that you are charged for the days before cancelling and any usage.

There is no email but there is social media.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You should have been aware that you had some usage to pay for

Just because you didn't fully read and understand the contract is not a reason not to pay what you owe

Just call and pay, why should this be chalked off by O2?

give them a call on 202  or 0344 809 0202

Use the specific Payment management number  0800 902 0217

The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

In order to avoid making the same mistake again, I suggest that you get a PAYG SIM on each of the other three networks and compare them with each other and with O2.
