Hello.

I have received an email stating I have been moved tariff as if I have requested this. I have requested nothing. Why am I being moved a tariff to ‘30d 20gb’ ?

You'll need to call 4445 and ask O2.

We would have no idea, sorry.

I got the following too 

 

Your tariff change is all sorted. You're now on: O2 Sim Only Unlimited
30D 500MB.
 
I didn't ask for anything and theres nothing on My o2 which says anything about it, shockingly poor communication from o2 ! I have no idea whats going on but one things probably for sure its going to cost me

@Gratters On Friday we were told by management...

Some of the older tariff’s ( Pre 2018) are being closed down, This is to offer a more streamlined range of tariff’s and products, now and in the future. Customer's should have had an Email or had a letter sent 30 days prior to the change happening. From the information we have at the moment, this is Pay Monthly customers only - so Big Bundles should not be affected, however SIM Only plans will be affected and only contracts which are out of contract. With regards to some people advising they are paying more for less, they can speak to our upgrades team to see if there are any other plans which would suit them better.

It would seem the text and email notifications aren't being sent.

Exactly what I thought @jonsie. So many people coming here with no knowledge of why their tariff has been changed.
