How do I overcome the O2 double NAT so that I can access a server from from the internet?

I guess you'd need to use a vpn.

There's a fair bit on cgnat if you search the forum.

You can't unless you have a private APN and route the traffic via an internal network, but I doubt you are an enterprise customer with £10K's to spend on this..


So your only option is to use a VPN or get the server owner to allow access from the o2 DNS  that they can see. 

 

And you have no chance on PAYG... There are niche MVNO's that offer a public IP but they cost a lot...

- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I would never be quite so presumptuous, but agree, as I suggested, that a vpn is the best way around the issue.
