Ordering PAYG SIM online

Hi,

I'm trying to order a PAYG SIM for my partner.

I've tried numerous times, using Chrome, Firefox, Safari and the default Android browser on my tablet. Every time I get a message saying "Something went wrong. Looks like you're lost" etc.

I phoned O2 and was told that no-one had reported this problem, and they could not order a SIM on the phone, only replacement SIMs.

Could anyone let me know f this a problem with all my browsers, or if there is actually a problem with the website?

Many thanks.

Time was you could request a SIM card free on O2 website...

Does this one not work?

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go#simtype=classicpayasyougo

Just used that web page to order a SIM using my home WiFi, no problem, @MMCN72

Are you able to use an O2 mobile with data to order?  I noticed recently in Spain the local WiFi would not let me Top-up, but using O2 4G (Movistar in Spain), it all worked flawlessly.

@MMCN72 Try clearing the cache on your browsers to see if that will help.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest just calling in to an O2 store or Carphone Warehouse, if you have either nearby.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Many thanks both...

Sorry I didn't make it clear, but I was actually trying to order a free SIM from the link you provided.

As suggested I cleared cache and cookies and turned off my adblocker, but no difference.

O2 shops and CPW are a bit out of my way, but will probably pick one up in Tesco next week.

Many thanks to you both for your help. If anyone's got any further suggestions I'd be most grateful!

Hi, no I wasn't logged in when I tried ordering. I've just tried again after logging in but same result.

No problem, many thanks for your idea!

Yes, it is, @MMCN72. I was on my Android phone, using native Chrome, on logged-in - and now I have an O2 SIM on its way to me, want me to send it on to you?upside_down
