O2 PAYG and Airtime Rewards

Hello O2, 

I topup a new PAYG account with £10 topup via Airtime rewards.

This topup is showing in my account but I can't use it. Customer service told me I need to topup my account further with a bank card to use it.

I beleive it's seems unfair as it's O2 who is adversting/promoting Airtime rewards and futher saying it's not a topup that I can use?

You'll need to use a voucher for the first top up to activate the sim.

After the first top up, all other methods of topping up will be available to you.

@MI5 it's not a failed topup, something O2 is not honoring already showing on the account.
